Reproduction: by seeds and cuttings of rhizomes. It is better to grow through seedlings. Seeds germinate at 20 degrees, if seedlings do not appear within 2-4 weeks, then the crops are kept for another 2-4 weeks at a temperature of -4 +4 degrees, and then brought back into the heat. Sections of rhizomes are planted in holes to a depth of 5–6 cm.
Use: very ornamental plant, decoration of fragrant and medicinal gardens, gardens in a natural style. Looks good together with Liatris punctata, Oenothera fruticosa and Verbascum phoeniceum.
